Thakoon Panichgu's getting lots of buzz. Infact, he tons of celebrities in the audience. Supposedly, he been influenced by some of the new greats i.e. Narciso Rodriguez. I think he's got some design elements that deserve a second look, but I don't see what all the hype is about.
I'd like to see what he does for Fall 2008.

It looks like Pucci or even a Valentino is just a different shade.
I have to say that Thai designers are very 'Japanesque'...they are interesting and I predict that there will be more to come. Most of their designs have a very ethnic blend about them with a touch of western influence via fabrics.
Someone told me that his other collections were better.
