The United States of America is the richest country in the world and we have to cut PBS' federal subsidy because we need to balance the budget? It's 420 million dollars??? Again, we have no problem pouring trillions into Iraq, but we can't find 420 million dollars? Bullcrap!!
Sometimes the only culture that some people are exposed to is on PBS? From Broadway to concerts, PBS is something that should unquestionably remain for the people. I'm fortunate because I live in New York City, the cultural mecca of the United States, but most Americans don't.
