Who cares that 3,600 soldiers have died and more are wounded? We need to stay in Iraq and not address the mismanagement of this war.That's the message the Republican party is giving to the American people. As the anti-war sentiment grows and the election antics intensify Democrats will have more ammunition to confront the Elephants on Iraq.
The Democrats may have lost the battle on the defense bill, but I believe this is just part of the plan to get a Democrat in the executive office to clean up the mess G.W Bush made.
