Jackson to Star in Musical Reading at O'Neill Conference Tuesday, June 26, 2007; Posted: 9:29 AM - by BWW News Desk Variety reports that Cheyenne Jackson, now on Broadway as Sonny in Xanadu, will headline a staged reading of a new musical in Waterford, CT as part of the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center's Music Theater Conference. Readings will be held July 21st through 27th. Ted Sperling (The Light in the Piazza, See What I Wanna See) will direct Red Eye of Love, which features music by Jan Warner, and book and lyrics by Arnold Weinstein and John Wulp. Jackson's Broadway credits include All Shook Up, Thoroughly Modern Millie and Aida. He was among the premiere cast of Altar Boyz, is a member of the Broadway Inspirational Voices, and has appeared regionally in West Side Story, The Most Happy Fella, Children of Eden, Hair, Carousel, Damn Yankees and Kismet.
