My last day I could sleep in was June 10th. So, I will be grateful to wake up in the afternoon on Saturday. I can't wait.

Jerry Likes My Corn

Absurd title for a song in a very interesting show. Grey Gardens is kind of like a before and after of Jackie Kennedy-Onassis' relatives. It starts with them wealthy (1st Act) to them living with 52 cats, racoons and bugs (2nd Act). Very tragic.

The first act had no real action or conflict. The only real reason it exists is to inform the 2nd act, when we see what happened to the mother and daughter's relationship. I have to say the 2nd act had some brilliant moments. Mary Louise Wilson's character work had levels and was tragic without her playing tragic. I almost shedded a tear during the "Jerry Likes My Corn". Email me if you want to know what happens during it cause I don't want to give it away if someone doesn't want to hear it.

Overall, it was an entertaining night at the theatre, but I'm glad it didn't win Best Musical. The book had too many problems. I wanted to see how they got to living like they did. The first act was just too much exposition. I recommend it, only if you've seen Spring Awakening.

Spice Up You Life

Every boy and every Girl....!! I loved the Spice Girls back in the day. I might not be at the concert, but I will get a few new singles from iTunes.

They're pure pop and fluff, but sometimes that hits the spot.

Settle for this or that

I was watching an episode from Sex and the City (Season 2 episode 2) and it was about what you can "live with" in a relationship. For me it depends. For me, I have are expectations.

  • Do you do what you say you're going to do?
  • Are you affectionate?
  • Are a good listener?

I'm single and don't have too much experience in relationships, but from what I see, everyone settles. Everyone, says, "I can live with this or that, but not this. I can relate to that, but how much are you willing to stand for. That whole "love can conquer all" idea is bullshit. That's for the Hallmark cards and Valentine's Day are for. What conquers all is open communication and a willingness to be vulnerable in front of each other.

In that episode, Carrie's friend was in a abusive relationship and willing to stay her husband. This is the episode when Charolette gets the dog (Henry) who shits all over hear apartment. Char eventually gave him to a family, but realized that she and her dog weren't the right fit. That's where I stand. I'll try (almost) anything once, but if it doesn't fit there's no need to sit in a bunch of crap.

Psychology Today is a great site with some interesting articles about relationships! Check it out.

For those of you who haven't been to NYC...this is one of my favorite places now and forever. Central Park (CP) is a great place to chill. These pics I took on my way from the Apple Store on Monday.

Don't forget this is just one small part of it.

Just beautiful.

Here's comes Cheyenne

He's everywhere and rightly so! I'm happy that this talented man is having all this sucess.

States are Fight Back

A war has started.

If the idiots in Congress can't do it the States will. This was bound to happen. I'm glad they can see right through this immigrations bull crap! There is just a better way of doing it, legally. The answer is not amnesty. Check out the Washington Post article below.

Illegal Immigrants targeted by States

Who do They Fight for?

I ask that question to our Congressmen on Captial Hill. Congress fights for non-citizens that are in this country illegally, but when will they start fighting for the dwindling middle/working class that's disappearing. It's being eaten up by bloated salaries for executives and the growing poor immigrant population.

Where do people who work everyday and pay their bills fall? Who's fighting for them? No one. Our Congressmen want to insure that if they help the latino population, they will be assured votes for the upcoming election(s).

The United States for once needs to put the needs of it's people before all else. Its people have been on the back burner for too long.

My Favorite Dance...right now

This was my favorite dance last week. Jessi and Pasha from So you Think you can Dance were tight and crisp and are one of my favorite couples. Check it out.

Culture or Not

Looks like my favorite "yogurt" shop is having some difficulty. Is it yogurt or not. I love it. I had some today and I found my favorite mix: Cookies & Cream, Strawberries and Bananas...delicious.

I think people are just "hatin" on Pinkberry's success. I would like to know what's in it though. I wonder if it's some alien life form. If that's the case, I've got a large parasite in my gut! LOL. Check out the controversy below:
